Scrocchiarella® has started a partnership with Frolla Market, the first inclusive supermarket in Italy managed by people with disabilities, located in the Cargopier Shopping Center in Osimo (AN). Frolla’s announcement? “We are ready to change the world to the sound of crunch”, underlining how the collaboration combines the quality of Scrocchiarella with Frolla’s social vocation. From today, a dedicated corner in the supermarket allows the Frolla team to independently prepare and sell Scrocchiarella®, once again demonstrating how work and food are precious tools of inclusion, with advantages for everyone: from workers to customers, to the AB Mauri team who can’t wait to live and exchange experiences with the Frolla team.
Frolla is a social cooperative from Osimo born in 2017 as an inclusive micro-biscuit factory, with the goal of offering a work path to young people with disabilities. Today the project has expanded: Frolla Market (450 m²) is a true meeting point between large-scale distribution and neighborhood shop, with bar, gastronomy, educational laboratory and corner for aperitifs.
It hosts eight full-time operators with disabilities, in addition to the 27 from the micro-biscuit factory, involved in activities from the cash register to the shelves, including cooking courses. The alliance with Scrocchiarella gives momentum to this vision, with the goal of enhancing the autonomy of the young people, food quality and concrete inclusion, respecting both companies’ values.
